Public Transport Guide to Salone Margherita, Naples

1. From Naples Central Station (Napoli Centrale)

The Central Station is very well connected to the city center.

  • Metro Line 1 (Yellow Line): This is the fastest and most direct way.

    • Take: Metro Line 1 towards "Piscinola".

    • Get off at: Municipio station.

    • Walking distance: From Municipio station, it is a 3-4 minute walk (approx. 300 meters) to Salone Margherita/Via Giuseppe Verdi.

  • Bus: You can take line R2 from the bus terminal in front of the station.

    • Get off at: Piazza Municipio or San Carlo stop.

    • Estimated time: 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

2. From Naples International Airport (Capodichino)

The airport is connected to the city center via a dedicated shuttle service.

  • Alibus Shuttle: This is the most convenient public transport option from the airport.

    • Frequency: Every 15-20 minutes.

    • Route: The bus makes two main stops: the Central Station and the Port (Molo Beverello).

    • Where to get off: Get off at the Molo Beverello / Piazza Municipio stop.

    • Walking distance: From the port stop, it is a 5-minute walk uphill towards the San Carlo Theatre / Galleria Umberto I area to reach Salone Margherita.

  • Taxi: Fixed rates (Tariffa Predeterminata) are available for the city center. Ask the driver for the "Predetermined rate" to Piazza Municipio before starting the trip.
